SARATOGA SPRINGS — Circus Café’s Book Club celebrates its one year anniversary at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at the restaurant, 392 Broadway.
Local author Robin Antalek will help mark the occasion with a discussion of her new book, “The Summer We Fell Apart.”
The Book Club meets the first Monday of each month, with attending members each having one vote towards the following month’s title, preventing it from becoming a theme book club. Previous selections have included “Sarah’s Key” and to “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Membership is free, with no restrictions.

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Saratoga Central Catholic will hosts dodge ball tournament Feb. 27, at its gym, 247 Broadway. The tournament benefits the SCC baseball program.
Divisions of play are grades 6 to 8 and 9 to 12.
The entry fee is $10 per person, with a minimum of six players per team. Winning teams will receive T-shirts and trophies.
Completed entry forms are due Feb. 12. To download entry forms, release forms and roster sheets, go towww.saratogacatholic.org, or call the school at 587-7070. WILTON — The Wilton Seniors are accepting reservations for 2010 trips and programs. For details and reservations, call Kay Lant at the center, 587-6363 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday or Thursday.
• Turning Stone Casino: March 17. Includes $15 free play, Irish song and dance show; bus leaves Wilton and Saratoga Senior Centers; active members and Wilton residents $42, non-members and non-residents $52.
• Defensive Driving Class: All-day session begins at 8 a.m. March 6, at the Senior Center, 18 Traver Road, at $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Participants get 10 percent off car insurance for three years upon completion of class. Limited seating is available.
• Lancaster, Pa.: Sept. 9 to 12. Four days and three nights, includes buffet breakfast, three dinners, two shows, and various venues; single $770 (insurance $64), double $590 (insurance $48), and triple $542 (insurance $48).
