Portugal popularity set to rise

It is expected that Portugal may welcome even more travel insurance customers this year after an online travel agent predicted it would see a growth in popularity.

Sunshine.co.uk named the western European nation as one of the top five countries that can expect a rise in visitor numbers over the next few months.

It reported that booking figures have grown of late, which may be partially down to people’’s perceptions that neighbouring Spain is saturated with Brits.
